Hello my lovely Cancer Family! Welcome to your yearly reading. This year carries a strong message of balance and stability. Also letting go of unnecessary burdens and being open to the help that surrounds you.. For this reading, I’m using the traditional Rider Waite deck alongside the Well Worn Path. Be sure to check your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs for the fullest picture of what this year holds for you.

For the present, we pulled the the Ace of Cups, Queen of Wands, and the Water card. This year opens with an emotional reset. The Ace of Cups shows a fresh emotional beginning, whether that’s healing your heart, opening yourself to love again, or reconnecting with what genuinely fills you up. There’s a softness here, but it’s not weak. There may also be some type of new relationship or commitment right now. The Queen of Wands brings confidence, self trust and a strong sense of identity. You’re learning how to be emotionally open without dimming yourself. You are really beginning to feel yourself and step into that confidence. Really an energy of self love and appreciation. Water reinforces this theme. Emotions are moving, flowing, and no longer being suppressed. You’re allowing yourself to feel instead of intellectualizing everything or holding it in. You may also notice that you tend to go with the flow of life instead of swimming against the current.

The challenges come through the Page of Wands, Page of Cups, and Greenman. There’s an excitement to start something new, but also uncertainty about how to do it. You may feel inspired one moment and unsure the next. Make sure to be aware of this energy so that you don’t lose momentum and steam.  The Page of Cups can point to emotional immaturity around a situation, make sure that you stay open to communication and seeing the point of view of others. Greenman highlights growth and renewal, but it also reminds you that growth takes time. You may want quick results or reassurance that you’re on the right path, but this year asks for patience and to keep going, even if you don’t see immediate results.

We pulled on some underlying roots and influences and we get the Eight of Cups, Two of Pentacles, and the Earth card. At a deeper level, you’re walking away from something that no longer emotionally satisfies you, even if it once did. The Eight of Cups shows a quiet but firm decision to stop juggling what drains you. The Two of Pentacles reflects the balancing act you’ve been in, trying to manage responsibilities, emotions, and expectations. Earth grounds this. This year is asking you to make practical, real world changes, not just emotional ones. Stability comes from choosing what you can realistically sustain and not trying to do everything yourself. Walk away from what no longer drains you and delegate when you can.

I pulled on how you appear to others and received  the King of Wands, Queen of Cups, and the Crone. People see you as emotionally wise, confident, and intuitive. You come across as someone who knows themselves and is wise beyond their years. The King of Wands gives leadership and presence, while the Queen of Cups shows compassion, emotional depth and almost like psychic abilities, this is someone who is very in touch. The Crone adds wisdom and discernment. Others may see you as someone who’s been through things and come out more grounded, even if they don’t know your full story. You may have people come to you as a counselor or a guide of some sort. So if you have more people asking your opinion… you know why.

The theme for the year comes with the Nine of Cups, Three of Pentacles, and Summerland. This is about fulfillment through collaboration and alignment. The Nine of Cups is emotional satisfaction. This is the wish card so you start to see some goals and dreams being accomplished this year. The Three of Pentacles shows teamwork, support, and building something with others. Be open to collaboration this year. It could be the key to success and accomplishing some of your goals. Summerland points to a transition that leads to peace and renewal. Something old is ending naturally, not through force. This is the 8 of cups energy where it is firm, yet gentle. This year brings a sense of emotional completion that makes room for something better.

For influencing aspects, I pulled  the Knight of Swords, Page of Swords, and Pentagram. There’s a lot of mental energy around you this year. Conversations, decisions, and truth telling play a big role. The Knight of Swords can bring sudden news or decisive action and a need to make quick decisions while the Page of Swords suggests learning, observing, and staying curious. The Pentagram brings balance and manifestation. What you think, say, and focus on has a direct impact on what you create, so being intentional with your words and mindset is important.

I pulled on some aspirations and concerns and I pulled the Hierophant, Seven of Wands, and the Moon from the Well Worn Path. You want stability, structure, and to do things the right way, but you’re also questioning what that even means for you now. The Seven of Wands shows feeling like you have to defend your position or beliefs. The Moon highlights hidden fears, intuition, and uncertainty. There’s a tension between following tradition or expectations and trusting your inner knowing. This year asks you to define your own truth, even if it doesn’t match what others expect. You are the one to set new traditions for yourself.

I pulled some advice for you Cancer and received the Knight of Cups, Seven of Cups, Tower, and the Crossroads. Follow what feels emotionally aligned, but don’t get lost in fantasy or indecision. Make sure you listen to your heart and the direction that you need to go, but also have a grounded plan on how to make it happen.  The Seven of Cups warns against too many options or idealizing something that isn’t solid. The Tower brings a necessary shake up. Something needs to fall apart so you can see clearly. The Crossroads confirms that a pivotal choice is coming. Avoid staying stuck just to keep things familiar. Choose honesty over comfort.

I pulled outcomes and received the cards of  Temperance, Queen of Pentacles, Eight of Swords, Five of Wands, and Reincarnation. Over time, balance is restored. Temperance shows emotional and practical harmony returning once adjustments are made. Once you choose to let go and stop trying to balance and carry everything alone, you will see your life balance and start to level off. You will also be in a calmer, more peaceful and softer energy. The Queen of Pentacles shows stability, especially in home, finances, or self care. The Queen is surrounded by her lush garden, she is grounded. The Eight of Swords suggests moments where you may still feel mentally stuck or limited, but this is more perception than reality. Once again, pay attention to thoughts and make sure that your blockages are not self imposed. Swords represent the mind and sometimes we can put ourselves in a worse situation in our mind than what it really is physically. The Five of Wands brings some external conflict or competition, possibly differing opinions or internal tension about direction. Remember that often with elevation comes some type of resistance, keep going anyway.  Reincarnation shows a full reset. By the end of the year, you’re not the same person you were at the beginning. Physically, this could look like a change in living situation, routine, work structure, or even how you care for your body. Emotionally and spiritually, it’s a rebirth. You shed an old version of yourself and step into a new cycle with more clarity, self-respect, and emotional freedom. You will not recognize yourself come 2027 and that is good thing.
